What
is The New Silver Solution®
Throughout
the centuries and into today, silver in various forms has been used to
benefit mankind. Some cultures added powdered silver to a newborn's first
bath as protection against a harsh world. American pioneers placed silver
dollars in liquids, helping to keep liquids fresh longer. NASA, in the
Space Shuttle program, opted for a water filtration system with silver as
one of the components.* Today, technology allows silver to be available in
very small, suspended particles called colloidal silver.
Silver, like so many other micro minerals, is considered by many to
contribute to optimum health. Unfortunately foods do not contain much of
this trace element as they have in the past. Yet, human health can suffer
when silver amounts are too low. In 1966 I.H. Tipton, a researcher,
reported that under normal circumstances, the average diet would yeild
approximately 50-100 mcg of silver. Today, since farming and processing
practices are different, it is hard to tell what the average diet would
include.
Today, technology allows silver to be avaiable in very small, suspended
particles called "colloidal silver". The
New Silver Solution® consists of very tiny (about 10 nanometers
long) particles of pure elemental silver suspended in a solution of very
pure water, sold in bottles with concentrations of 14 parts of silver for
every million parts of water (typically stated as 14 parts per million or
abbreviated as 14 ppm) to 22 ppm
Patented: The
NEW Silver Solution is so new and effective that it was deemed a
new product, and therefore approved for patent by the United States Patent
Agency. The New Silver Solution has the only two patent approvals on a
colloidal silver product in the last 80 years. The patent has also been
filed internationally, as well as specifically in Japan.
Infectious Diseases / Bacteria / Viruses News From Medical News Today
Most Deaths In 1918 Influenza Pandemic Caused By Bacterial Pneumonia The majority of deaths during the influenza pandemic of 1918-1919 were not caused by the influenza virus acting alone, report researchers from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), part of the National Institutes of Health. Instead, most victims succumbed to bacterial pneumonia following influenza virus infection.
Silver Is The Key To Reducing Pneumonia Associated With Breathing Tubes People have long prized silver as a precious metal. Now, silver-coated endotracheal tubes are giving critically ill patients another reason to value the lustrous metal. In a study published in the Aug. 20, 2008 issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association, researchers at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and the NASCENT Investigation Group, report that the silver-coated tubes led to a 36 percent reduction of ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP).
Molecular Sleuths Track Evolution Through The Ribosome A new study of the ribosome, the cell's protein-building machinery, sheds light on the oldest branches of the evolutionary tree of life and suggests that differences in ribosomal structure between the three main branches of that tree are "molecular fossils" of the early evolution of protein synthesis.
New Reasons To Avoid Grapefruit And Other Juices When Taking Certain Drugs Scientists and consumers have known for years that grapefruit juice can increase the absorption of certain drugs - with the potential for turning normal doses into toxic overdoses. Now, the researcher who first identified this interaction is reporting new evidence that grapefruit and other common fruit juices, including orange and apple, can do the opposite effect by substantially decreasing the absorption of other drugs, potentially wiping out their beneficial effects.
Food, Health Get Top Billing At National Chemistry Meeting Well beyond the advice to drink enough H2O and not eat too much NaCl, the nation's chemists will get elemental with grapefruit, onions, peppers, tomatoes, carrots and watermelons this week at the American Chemical Society meeting. The world's largest scientific society is observing the 100 anniversary of its Agricultural and Food Chemistry Division with a series of talks aimed at new discoveries in the health benefits from phytochemicals in fruits and vegetables.
Patients Wit Coronary Artery Disease See No Gains In Treatment With Vitamin B Or Folic Acid Though B vitamins have some health benefits, a study published in the August 20 issue of JAMA finds that they are not an effective means of preventing death or cardiovascular events in patients with coronary artery disease. To motivate this large randomized trial, researcher Marta Ebbing, M.D.

Could Water Cure A US Public Health Menace? Chronic Lead Poisoning From Urban Soils Chronic lead poisoning, caused in part by the ingestion of contaminated dirt, affects hundreds of thousands more children in the United States than the acute lead poisoning associated with imported toys or jewelry. Could treating contaminated soil with water prevent this public health scourge? In a study appearing in the August issue of the journal Applied Geochemistry, Gabriel M. Filippelli, Ph.D.
